Winter Snowman Wishes - Simon Says Stamp DieCember Release Party

Good morning! Today is part of an epic party to celebrate the beginning of DieCember at Simon Says Stamp! Unlike a traditional release hop, this is just a party with tons of friends joining in and sharing inspiration. You can find everyone that is participating linked on the Simon Says Stamp Blog if you want to check it all out.

There is also a fun gift for you - this cute embossing folder with coordinating dies, available FREE with a purchase of $100 or more in the DieCember release product category HERE. Offer is valid through midnight eastern time tonight, or while supplies last!

I have this little duo of cards to share, using a sweet little new stamp set that is part of the release!

I mostly played with the new Cozy Together stamp set - while I know it would be adorable colored, I love taking a detailed image and just using the outline. This one was perfect for it! I created monochromatic cards in a couple of unexpected colors for winter cards - and I love them! For the card background, I used the previously released Stylized Mandala stencil, and soft yellow and pink inks. After stenciling, I brushed a bit of extra ink around the outer edges to soften the stark lines, and keep it from looking so white. I then die cut and inked up the Large Standard Tag wafer die in the same ink tones, but more saturated. I used that to stamp my images and sentiments. I die cut and tucked under the edge a scallop border using Tag Adornments wafer die and white cardstock. Added a bow tied with Lawn Fawn White Hemp Twine, and then finished off with some Gems in Opal, that were the perfectly complement to the snowy effect! Here are more photos of these finished cards:
