So...remember that sheep card I made for my mom's birthday that I posted a couple days ago? Well...I also used that little sheep from Melody's Easter from the Simon Says Stamp Reason to Smile release, to make her a set of note cards! Sheep and plaid - I kinda think it is the perfect blend! Eeeek - so cute!
I started off by stamping the sheep, then cutting a mask out with Post It Notes, and applying ink for the grass and sky.
Once I peeled the mask off, I colored them in a couple different shades, then mix matched some plaid paper for the background.
I kept the front pretty simple - inking the "baaah!" once, then stamping it 3 times progressively so it got lighter each time. This way she can make them fit any occasion by filling the inside in to say whatever she wants. "Baaah!" can mean a lot of things, right? :)
Finished off with a bit of jute twine tied around them.
This is also a perfect fit for the new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Cute and Cuddly:
Here are links to the supplies I used - thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!
