Flower Gift Bags

Good morning! I am still loving the newest Spring Plush release from Simon Says Stamp - so fun and relaxing, and easy to take with you! I made these cute little flower gift bags while I was sitting in the waiting room at the orthodontist while my youngest daughter got braces on (for the SECOND time!) - and finished them while I was sitting in the car while they did ice skating lessons later on in the day.

I did a simple whip stitch around most of them, but left the top open by just doing a single whip stitch on each side. - then added some strips of felt for a "handle" - I added paper shreds on the inside, and I'm planning on tucking a little treat inside and hanging them on my daughters' bedroom door so they have something fun waiting for them on Easter morning! :)

You might notice that I used silver and gold thread for the centers of the flowers - adds just a bit of fun sparkle to them!

I used a mix of Taylored Expressions felt (blue, green, and peach) - and then some Simon Says Stamp felt for the yellow. Here is a close up of each one - with my daughter holding them. Her hands are pretty for modeling, don't you think?

They have no idea what I made these for, even though they saw me make them - so it will be super fun to surprise them on Easter!

I love using unexpected colors for these too - makes them more unique!

Here are links to the products I used on this including affiliate links where possible. Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!
