LID Spring Release - Day 2 - Floral Eggs Card Set

Hello! Welcome to Day 2 of the new release hop of the brand new spring release from Lil' Inker Designs! Today I used some of the new packaging,, stamps, and dies to make a card gift set - here it is all packaged up:

And here are close ups of all the cards - these intricate patterns on the Egg and Flower Stamp set and coordinating Dual Stitched Egg and Easter Greeting Die Set made me think of Ukranian decorated eggs that I've seen a lot on Pinterest lately - and I wanted to use watercolors with them, so I embossed them in gold, added a sentiment embossed in white, then added watercolors to color them.

I added a solid color coordinating background, embossed with Quilted Swirl Stitched Pattern Die, and the bottom edge die cut Border Builders Die Set.

I added some jute twine, a little bow from the new Stitched Easter Basket Die, and a tiny enamel dot to finish each card off.

I slipped them all into one of the Clear Gift Boxes, added some ribbon, a doily, and a die cut basket from the Stitched Easter Basket Die (same one with the bow die used on the cards).

A little more ribbon from my stash, and a sentiment heat embossed on black cardstock from the Bunny Hugger stamp set that comes with the Bunny Hugger Die & Stamp Set.

And now the really fun part! There is, of course, a chance to win some shopping money to spend on the new goodies! YAY! Laura is giving away 3 gift certificates for random comments left along the hop - so the more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!

Here is the entire Blog Hop line-up - make sure and check out each stop and leave your comments:
