Thanks so much for an amazing year - it has been a wonderful Design Team to be on - due in a huge part to your ADORABLE artwork! So...what better than some of that amazing artwork to honor her birthday? Here is what I made:
Here is the sketch we are following this week:
And here are the sets I used on my project:
All my paper is from a Basic Grey "What's Up" 6x6 paper pad. I started by stamping the Celebrations Background on the center square using some PTI ink, then stamped and colored the candle with Copics, and cut it out by hand.
I trimmed my background pieces, rounding some of the edges with my Martha Stewart corner rounder. I inked the edges of everything with Tim Holtz distress ink in Antique Linen.
Tucked some crinkle ribbon and Baker's twine under the center panel, then tied the crinkle ribbon in a bow. Added a PTI button with some jute twine.
Attached some self adhesive pearls under the sentiment, then attached that panel with foam adhesive, then attached the entire thing to the card base. Finished off with a tiny bit of white gel pen accents.
I'll be dropping this in the mail for you tomorrow Kathy! Hope you have a wonderful birthday! And I hope everyone else will join in the Linky Party/Challenge this week to wish Kathy a Happy Birthday!!! Have a great week!
