Best Year Ever...

If you are looking for my giveaway post, scroll down or click HERE!

Good morning! Just quickly popping in to share a card I actually made a while back for Stamping Royalty. It didn't win obviously - but I still really like it!
I think it is the combination of rustic and gold elements that I love! I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment from MFT with gold Zing embossing powder on PTI rustic cream cardstock and rounded the bottom edges. Stamped another word and some stars from the same set with distress ink - although it is really hard to see in the pictures!
My background paper is by Crate Paper - LOVE how real that woodgrain looks!
Punched a couple of holes and tied some jute twine on, then finished off with a couple of sequins.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!!!

  1. the rustic wood paper!

  2. Fabulous! The embossing is wonderful and I am currently in love with that paper! The jute twine is a great accent.

  3. Wow! I really love this card. Woodgrain is one of my favorite backgrounds for cards and coupled with the gold embossing the effect is marvelous!

  4. Great card the embossing is beautiful!
