MCS Challenge - Welcome to the Neighborhood

Good morning! Happy Memorial Day! Where has the almost first half of the year gone?!?!? Anyway - I'm here to share a card for this weeks new challenge at My Craft Spot - Welcome to the Neighborhood.
I used Chunky Alphabet stamp set to spell out my "welcome" on my card:

And I tied on some Natural Jute Twine as well:

I have been wanting to try out this pretty washi tape that I got a while back, so this seemed like a perfect opportunity! I layered several strips on a cardbase made from Avery Elle kraft cardstock, then cut the house shape out of white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo.
I stamped the word "welcome" using MFT kraft ink, tied on my jute twine and added a MFT button, then finished off with a few sequins before attaching it to my cardbase with foam adhesive.
Super simple and fun! Might just have to make a few of these I think! Thanks for dropping by today! I look forward to seeing your creations this week!

  1. This is darling Heather I love the pattern paper behind the houses!!

  2. This is a brill card - everything so well connected yet it is quirky - thanks heaps for the inspiration

  3. This is fantastic-- I would love to know what silhouette cut this is if you get a chance :)
