Rock on Birthday!

Hello! In my effort to get caught up on my posting, I thought I would post a couple of cards for the Wonder of Watercolor challenge in the Moxie Fab World:
I have two cards that are pretty much the same, just slightly different colors, and different coloring techniques. They are both stamped using ROCK on KID and Party All Day from Unity Stamps, heat embossed in black on watercolor paper.
The first one, I used Papertrey Ink inkpads, smooshed them on my nonstick mat, then dipped a water brush into the ink and painted in the image.
The second one is very similar, just a little more bright in the color scheme!
For this one, I used Tim Holtz distress markers to color in, then used the water brush to blend it out.
Pattern paper for both of them are from an older Echo Park 6x6 paper pad. These both made great flat, one layer, mail-able cards! A rare thing for me!
These also perfectly fit one of the National Scrapbook Day challenges over at Shop Pumpkin Spice: Junes challenge to Make Two Cards from one 6x6 paper pad. If you haven't played with us - come on over! Each challenge has a prize of a $20 gift certificate to the store! And there aren't very many participants yet - so your odds are pretty good! They are open until Friday - so you still have plenty of time! Hope to see you there!!!
