Good morning! I'm back with another sneak peek of the new Winnie and Walter release! Today I'm featuring a GORGEOUS cover die that is premiering today on the Winnie and Walter Blog - make sure and head over there to see the new sets and lots of inspiration with them! I paired it up with a stamp and die set that premiered a bit earlier this week!
First I die cut the new Cover Model: Do You See What I See? Cutaway from white cardstock, then selectively punched out some of the pieces, and added tape from the reverse to hold the others in place creating a star pattern! I was going to mount that on a different color cardstock, then decided to add it to a white cardbase. Once I adhered it (with good strong adhesive - of course!) I was so sad, because it felt like my pattern vanished! Soooo...I broke out the Nuvo Sea Breeze Jewel drops and covered the stars with with a good coat. A hand cramp later (haha!) I left it all to dry. And I love the finished effect - feels like a stained glass window! Added a sentiment by die cutting one of the "merry" dies from In a Word: Merry Coordinating Cutaways 3 times from black cardstock and layering them up. I also added a good coating of Tonic Crystal Glaze for more shine - then added a tiny sentiment from In a Word: Merry Stamp Set heat embossed on a bit of red cardstock.
