Hello! I have my first card to share using the BRAND NEW Simon Says Stamp Joy For You Release! This release is loaded with lots of fun goodies - you are going to want to check them all out. But I started off with this bright and colorful card, using only THREE ink colors to blend with. I love how color theory works, and how perfectly this all came together!

I used the Color My World suite of products to create this card, starting off with the stencil. Instead of using lots of different ink colors, I chose just 3 shades of primary tones - Cranberry, Cadette, and Honey. I ink blended them in equal thirds, overlapping the colors to create the secondary tones in varying shades. I LOVE the effect and how it turned out - so fun! I added some black splatter over it, then used the coordinating dies to cut out the paint brush from Rainbow Splash Caramel cardstock, SSS Espresso, as well as white (ink blended with Cranberry) and Honey Gold metallic cardstocks. I also cut the sentiment from white and black cardstocks, and assembled with a glue pen. I added those with foam adhesive onto my card, added a secondary sentiment from the XL EZ Strips reverse sentiment strips, cut out with the XL EZ Strips Banners die (trimmed off on one side), then added some Clear Dazzling gems and a bit of sparkly Nuvo glitter drops on the paint on the brush to finish off!
