Sunshine on a Gloomy Day - Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit

Good morning! Stopping by again this morning with another card to share using brand new Simon Says Stamp MARCH Card Kit - Choose Joy! There are not one, but TWO amazing stamp sets, gorgeous Carta Bella pattern paper and stickers, cardstock and envelopes, and a fun glittery Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen! It's such a fabulous kit!

For this one I paired up the gorgeous Choose Joy stamp set with some of the beautiful stickers in the kit!

That vase of flowers? Isn't it lovely? I wish I could say I watercolored it - but it is one of the stickers in the kit - and it is STUNNING! Now the gingham background? That I totally stamped using the fun gingham pattern in the Choose Joy stamp set. It is set up so that you can interlock it together to stamp as large a background as you want - isn't that amazing? I stamped it in soft pink Twirling Tutu SSS ink, then tore the edges of that panel to get it to the size I wanted and add a rustic edge. I used my powder tool on the back of the sticker to remove it "stickiness" then used foam adhesive to pop it up on top of the gingham panel.

I mounted that front panel on a white panel cut with Wonky rectangles, and mounted that on a Neenah Desert Storm Cardbase. Finally, I heat embossed my sentiment in white on a strip of SSS Slate Cardstock, and adhered that over the top, and added a few sparkling clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins to finish!
