Peace and Joy Glittery Layers - Simon Says Stamp DIEcember

Good morning! Today I'm sharing another Simon Says Stamp DieCember Release Card with you, featuring one of the fabulous new dies, paired up with some lovely glitter cardstock for a sparkly and fun card!

I started off by cutting the gorgeous new Holiday Knit background die from white cardstock. I played around with some different options to place behind it, until I popped some glitter cardstock behind there - and then I knew that was the way to go! I used two different shades of SSS glitter cardstock - Aqua and Silver - laying it out so the silver was behind one center stripe of the pattern, then adhered all those layers together.

Next, I added a sentiment from Tiny Words Christmas Stamp set, heat embossed on a thin strip of black cardstock, and with a bundle of silver thread tucked behind it. For just a touch more sparkle, I added a few silver PPP jewels. So hard to fully capture the sparkle in person - but this card is so sparkly and elegant in real life - and possibly the best part? None of that glitter will rub off or get everywhere! YAY!
