LID February Release Day 2 - Another Year Older

Hello! So back for day 2 of sharing projects with the BRAND NEW February release at Lil' Inker Designs! This is such a sassy and fun release - and a fresh mix of new products! You can find the entire new release HERE!

You should have arrived here from Chrissy Larson - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win the amazing giveaway. I also have links to all the new products I used on today's cards!

Today I'm back with a card featuring LOTS of the new release goodies all on one card!

This one uses the unique and fun Sassy Girl Die to create that fun focal point. I die cut each of the layers from white cardstock and used Copic markers to color them in. I die cut the crown from gold glitter paper, and adhered all the layers together, stamping the eyes on with the coordinating Sassy Girl Stamp Set.

It is a little hard to see in the photos, but I die cut the new Mod Circles Cover Up Die from white cardstock, and then used an Ivory cardstock for the base that was just barely off-white. Perfect for a touch of neutral contrast.

I added a stitched oval cut from white cardstock to anchor my image, and also used it to hide the adhesive behind - so the Mod Circles background is only adhered behind the oval which gives it a bit of a free floating feel. Finished off with a sentiment from the new Sassy Pants stamp set heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock!

Your next stop along the blog hop is Jennifer Carter - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping. See you tomorrow with more projects and fun!
