Good morning! Today I'm stopping by to share a card I created using some beautiful stamps, dies, and jewels from Pretty Pink Posh - and a super soft and sweet color palette that I thought was so peaceful and relaxing! I especially had fun coloring these flowers - this was a very different color combination than any I had ever tried before - and I love the way it came out!
I started off by creating a window with some of my favorite super soft green cardstock from My Favorite Things...that I sadly noticed as I was writing up this post they no longer carry! If it's any comfort, I'm sure this would be easy to recreate with a bit of ink blending on white cardstock? So sorry to dangle that in front of you! I inset a white Scallop Frame in the center to create the focal point to place my flowers and sentiment.
I then stamped, colored, and die cut my flowers from Crocus Flowers and coordinating Crocus Flowers Dies, tucking them in here and there in the frame until I liked the arrangement. At this point, I picked up the whole thing with some Press and Seal, turned it over to add some foam adhesive, then mounted it over a Ivory cardbase (which I love using since it looks like a super soft yellow when paired with white!)
At this point I realized that maybe I should have stamped my sentiment from Simple Sayings: Courage sooner, but fortunately I was able to use my MISTI, line it up, and tuck it in there without any problems. Just to be safe, I did mask off the top edge and a couple flowers to prevent any accidental smudges! Can't be too careful - but it ended up fine even if I hadn't done that!
Of course, it still needed some sparkle, so I added some of my favorite Pearl White Jewels to finish this one off!
What do you think of this combination of colors? Do you prefer soft like this, or bolder and brighter?

What a pretty card! Sometimes I like vibrant colors, but the soft colours look really nice on this card.
