Good morning! I recently had a request to add a few more wedding cards to my stash of cards, so I pulled out one of my favorite dies from Simon Says Stamp, some distress oxide inks, and a simple sentiment, and put this card together!
I started by blending a trio of distress oxide inks on a panel of white cardstock - I used Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, and Aged Mahogany. I then smeared a coat of Nuvo Blizzard Glitter Drops over the top to add some sparkle, and set that aside to dry.
I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Corbel Heart from another panel of white cardstock, then trimmed it down with the largest Stitched Rectangle Die. Once the other panel dried, I mounted it over the top of the blended distress ink.
Finished off by heat embossing a tiny sentiment from Floral Bliss on a strip of black cardstock trimmed into a banner, then mounted that with foam adhesive over the top. Finally, I mounted that entire panel over a Slate cardbase for extra contrast! Can you see the sparkle in the negative space of the die?
