Now...onto my project for today using a couple of the brand new dies from the Essentials Release! There are so many fabulous sets in this release - I know you are going to love them all!
I used two new dies on my card today - Braided Ovals and Diagonal Stitched Rectangles. Aren't they pretty layered together?
I added a sentiment and some of the lovely butterflies from Bloom and Grow, die cutting the butterflies with the Coordinating Dies, and coloring the images and sentiment with monochromatic greens - kind of a fun and unusual color for a butterfly card, don't you think?
I also added some black splatters with my Licorice Liquid Watercolors. I adhered the butterflies down just in the centers with liquid adhesive, and once they dried I could curl the edges up slightly for extra dimension. I then added some sparkly Nuvo glitter drops on the butterflies, and some Crystal Glaze on the larger word in the sentiment. These just added an extra touch of dimension and sparkle to the card!
