Reverse Confetti October Blog Hop - Joyous Holiday Wishes

Good morning! Today it's time for the monthly blog hop with Reverse Confetti! This is a non-release month, so instead of showcasing new products, we are sharing projects using already released items! This month I pulled out some of the items from last month's release that I haven't played with as much as I would like, and put together a fun Christmas card - I also took the opportunity to work a little more on my no-line coloring! Always fun!

I stamped the lovely candy cane image from Joys of the Season in Stone Dye Ink, colored carefully with Copic markers, then die cut with the coordinating Joys of the Season Confetti Cuts. I chose kind of a vintage color for my candy canes - aren't pink and red stripes kind of fun?

Next, I die cut Stitched Circles Cover panel from white cardstock, and layered over a cardbase created with Stone cardstock. Before I adhered it in place, I die cut a circle from it using Lacy Scallop Circles Confetti Cuts - originally planning on just having a window and adhering the candy canes in the window. I didn't care for the way it looked, so I die cut that same die again from Stormy cardstock, and layered it over the top of that opening with a bit of foam adhesive.

One top of that I layered my candy canes with foam adhesive, and then added a sentiment from Joyous Holiday, heat embossed on a bit of Midnight cardstock and one side trimmed at an angle. Finished off with a bit of sparkly Nuvo drops on parts of that candy cane image - love the frosty look it gives them!
