Pinkfresh Studio Essentials 3 Release Blog Hop

Good morning! Today is an amazing blog hop to celebrate Pinkfresh Studio's Essentials 3 Release! There are 10 BEAUTIFUL new Essentials Dies releasing today! And let me just say - they are GORGEOUS. You aren't going to want to miss a stop along the way - TONS of inspiration and prizes up for grabs! YAY! You also might want to pop over to the Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Page at 10 AM Pacific Time this morning - I will be going LIVE featuring some of the new releases, and there will be a gift certificate up for grabs as well!

For my card for the hop, I got to play with a beautiful die that is so gorgeous, but also basic and useful - Diagonal Stitched Squares. Here is the card I created:

I started off by die cutting 4 of the smallest size squares from the new Diagonal Stitched Squares dies. I did some ink blending on them using Fresh Pear, Coral Reef, Slumber, and Lemon Whip, then stamped some florals on them using the previously released Inked Florals Stamp set.

I cut the largest size square, and layered all the smaller size square over the top - isn't all that stitching lovely? I layered it on a square white cardbase - for size reference, it is 4.25 x 4.25.

Next, I die cut the Beautiful Word Die from white and black cardstock, layered them together slightly offset, then layered those over the top of my card front.

Finally, I finished off with a supporting sentiment from Flower Garden stamp set, heat embossed in white on a strip of black cardstock and mounted with foam adhesive over my card front.

Here is the card we are going to be creating LIVE at 10 AM this morning on the Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Page! I hope I get to see you there for a closer look at this fabulous release! This card uses the gorgeous new Ornate Oval Frame Die and Radiating Background 2 Die:
