Hello! Dropping by today with another card using one of my favorite dies from the last Simon Says Stamp release - I shared a card before with rustic colors and lots of florals, today I went a little more of a traditional cherry blossom route!
I started off by die cutting the branch layer from Whimsical Branch from Lawn Fawn Pixie Dust glitter cardstock. For the background, I actually used the negative piece from the other card I shared HERE, and used my SSS Craft Tacky Mat to hold it in place while I ink blended some Marine and Bubblegum ink for the backdrop. I adhered both those layers onto my white cardbase. Next up, I die cut several of the floral and leaf layers from white cardstock, and blended Bubblegum on the flowers, and Spring ink on the leaves - again using the SSS Craft Tacky Mat to hold them in place. I layered them on the branches, adhering with little dots of liquid glue, and leave the edges free to curl up slightly. I also added some glitter drops to the centers of the flowers for a fun touch. Finished off with a sentiment from Loving Thoughts, and a few Dazzling Gems in Bubblegum and Surf to add some sparkle! Here is a closer look at this finished card:
