Good morning! Today I have a trio of elegant sympanthy cards to share using some more of the new You Are My Favorite Release from Simon Says Stamp, paired up with some older items as well!
For these cards, I started off by heat embossing the lovely frame from Flowering Frame on different colors of Simon Says Stamp cardstock. I heat embossed in Gold on Sage and Rainforest, then in Antique Gold on Honey. I die cut them with the coordinating dies, then pulled out my cardbases. For these, I started off by ink blending along the top of my white cardbases with coordinating inks in Aegean, Honey, and Sage. Next, I chose another floral from the Flowering Frame set, and stamped it tone on tone over the ink blending around the edges of the card. For the sentiments, I used Moments of Grace - an oldie but a goodie - stamped in black ink. I mounted the embossed frames over the top with foam strips, added some coordinating Glitter Enamel dots, and a little bow from Lawn Fawn white twine to finish them off!
