Good morning! I'm dropping by today to share another card using the NEW Heart to Heart Release from Simon Says Stamp! This one is a bit more clean and simple - and with a non-traditional color combination!
I wanted to use the lovely new inks in the release - Flax, Straw, and Wheat - and was playing with colors and sort of swiped them on a panel of cardstock layered up a bit to get a feel for them. I really liked that random swatch - so I thought I'd just try to use it on my card! This adorable image from the new Love is in the Air stamp set was a PERFECT fit! I added a sentiment underneath from another new set - Sweet Friendship. I trimmed that panel a bit to even it up, then mounted with foam on a white cardbase. Finished off with a bit of sparkly Nuvo drops in blizzard, and a few Dazzling Gems in Butter for a touch of coordinating sparkle! Here are more photos of this finished card:
