Hello - we have an early surprise drop of the card kit for this month! I'm dropping by to share my first card using the newest April 2026 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - A Little Artsy! This month's kit has lots of bold and bright elements and some creative twists! The included stamp set by the same name has some coordinating dual use stencils included for lots of fun techniques. There are some rub-ons, pattern paper, twine, distress paint, black splatter, and that's all not to mention the cardstock, overlays, and mini distress oxide inks! And, there are some great add on items available that coordinate wonderfully with this kit, and are live in the store now as well!
The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

While much of this kit is bright and bold and fun - I love how this more light and airy card turned out! I started off by using one of the add-ons - the
Petal Lattice stencil - along with the
Distress Oxide Inks I got in my kit. Those will vary, but you can always mix and match others from your stash! I ink blended a bit in the corner of my cardbase with one color, used the stencil over the top in another color, then for texture, used the
Mini Distress Blending Brush in the kit to brush across that in another color for some added texture - I love the tiny lines that adds! I then used a couple of the
rub-ons in the kit to layer on the cardbase, and added some of the
Black Splatter in the kit. I chose a couple portions of some of the
pattern paper in the kit and trimmed them out, added one tiny rub-on in the corner of one, curled up the edges slightly, and adhered with thin foam tape over the top. I rounded off one corner of the cardbase, then finished off with a few
Rainbow Dazzling Gems for sparkle! Here is a closer look at this finished card:
