I'm so excited with how my card for today turned out! Several days ago the idea hit me, and I had a ton of fun putting it together! This card was inspired by the Disney movie Up, of course! Keep reading to find out how I put it together!

As I was going through the items for the release, and deciding what to create my next card with, I suddenly noticed how perfectly sized these two images were to work together for this little scene. I used the balloons from Balloon Critters and one of the houses from the Cottagecore set. I started off by stamping and heat embossing both of my images on watercolor paper, then watercoloring with my Gansai Tambai watercolors in a bright color palette. Once they dried, I die cut them with the coordinating dies. For the background, I used a previously released embossing folder called Heart Showers. It also has a coordinating cloud die that I was able to put to use! I used Sea Glass cardstock, and matted it with black cardstock, and then cut lots of extra clouds from white cardstock. You can also emboss those, but for this card I just left them plain die cut. I even layered one over the top of the balloons to make it feel more dimensional. I couldn't resist that PERFECT sentiment from the Balloon Critters set, heat embossed in white on black cardstock, and trimmed to a thin strip. I used lots of foam adhesive, and fun angles to add to the playfulness of the card. Finished off with some white gel pen accents, and a few tiny Clear Dazzling gems sprinkled on the clouds to finish off! Here are more photos of all the little hidden details on this card:
