World Cardmaking Day - Birthday Card Challenge

This is the only card that I actually got accomplished on Saturday for World Cardmaking Day! We were so busy with my daughters birthday party, but then I remembered that we were celebrating my nephews birthday on Sunday! So I was more than happy to sit down and play! And...I can also enter this into the Birthday Card Challenge over at Inking it Up!!!

I used Boys Will be Boys for the robot and background cut, and added some doodling with a black pen.

And...put him on an action wobble!!! Isn't it just so much fun?!?!?!

See him wobble?!?!?

Added the top part of the sentiment from a Pink by Design stamp set, and the bottom part from a Scrappy Mom set!

Thanks for stopping in! Hard to believe it is Monday already...ugh. My hubby is working really long hours right now - 13 and 14 hour days, 6 days a week. So Sundays are his only day off, at least hopefully he continues to get them off! So, we really enjoyed our time together as a family yesterday! And now we take a deep breath and try to get through another week! Should only be for a month and a half or so though, so we will make it! I might be doing LOTS of crafting to pass the time!!!

  8. OK, now this is far too cool! I think the doodles add just the right touch, and the wobble? Shut the front door :) Awesome.
I hear you on the hubby working a lot - it's a tough thing to get used to, especially for kids. At least there's an end in sight, and at least we have something to do while we're on our own :)
