World Cardmaking Day - Birthday Card Challenge

This is the only card that I actually got accomplished on Saturday for World Cardmaking Day! We were so busy with my daughters birthday party, but then I remembered that we were celebrating my nephews birthday on Sunday! So I was more than happy to sit down and play! And...I can also enter this into the Birthday Card Challenge over at Inking it Up!!!

I used Boys Will be Boys for the robot and background cut, and added some doodling with a black pen.

And...put him on an action wobble!!! Isn't it just so much fun?!?!?!

See him wobble?!?!?

Added the top part of the sentiment from a Pink by Design stamp set, and the bottom part from a Scrappy Mom set!

Thanks for stopping in! Hard to believe it is Monday already...ugh. My hubby is working really long hours right now - 13 and 14 hour days, 6 days a week. So Sundays are his only day off, at least hopefully he continues to get them off! So, we really enjoyed our time together as a family yesterday! And now we take a deep breath and try to get through another week! Should only be for a month and a half or so though, so we will make it! I might be doing LOTS of crafting to pass the time!!!

  1. This is so super cute and fun!

  2. who wouldn't just love getting this card. so super cute.

  3. Oh, my goodness, that is TOO much fun! I love it!

  4. the black lines you added are just perfect, it makes your robot look like a fancy giant sticker! Great picture of the bot in action lol~! Best of luck to you and your family through the next month and a half... hopefully no longer than that!

  7. Oh wow, that action wobble picture came out perfect. LOL. Cool card--I like it. Would make the perfect boy card.

  8. OK, now this is far too cool! I think the doodles add just the right touch, and the wobble? Shut the front door :) Awesome.
I hear you on the hubby working a lot - it's a tough thing to get used to, especially for kids. At least there's an end in sight, and at least we have something to do while we're on our own :)

  9. hate to sound 'behind the times,' but what is an action wobble? I totally love the card.
