Runway Inspired Challenge - Textures!

(((If you are looking for my Sweet Stamp Shop giveaway post, scroll down, or click HERE)))

(This post was edited to add better pictures! I think I finally found a good way to photograph my cards that I am happy with!)

Hello! I think my youngest daughter is finally on the mend - so today I am planning on tackling and getting caught up on some projects that are on my to do list! In the meantime, here is another challenge card that I had completed and not had a chance to post:
This is for this weeks Runway Inspired Challenge:

The colors, the textures, and the design elements all popped out at me, so I went with a bit of all of them.
I used some yummy May Arts ribbon - thought the texture on the yellow was perfect, and LOVED the glitter ribbon run over the top!
Jute twine, a nice rustic button, a doily, a Unity Stamp sentiment stamped with PTI ink, and some butterflies cut from Simple Stories paper - all layered on some pretty woodgrain/doily paper from My Mind's Eye.
Thanks for visiting! See you again soon!

  1. Very unique! I love the background and the idea of stamping on the doilie.

  2. Love!!!!!! I love the combination of wood grain and doilies. So reminiscent of yesteryear. Sigh. And I have to say, you rocked the "ugly doily" LOL ;) (But those Bo Bunny are much prettier)
