Hello! Ack - I am SOOOO incredibly in love with this darling new set from Wplus9 called Unforgettable! Not surprisingly, it is out of stock right now, but I hear there are more coming soon! My little niece is turning 6 today, so it was the perfect excuse to pull it out and play last night!
Also linking this up with the current Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - All Creatures Great and Small:
As well as the current Cure for the Monday Blues - I loved the colors and the entirely girly feeling to the entire thing!
I was super inspired by the video that Dawn posted HERE using watercolors, but I really wanted to color it with my Copics, so I tried something different for me, but using her technique! I stamped the elephant and balloon with Antique Linen Distress ink, then used some of her shading techniques but with Copics - which left a design with no lines! Then I took a fine Copic multiliner to sketch back in a few of the lines to add back in some details. LOVE the sketchy effect this gave! Stamped my sentiment, die cut the panel with an Avery Elle die and applied some distress ink and machine stitched around the edges - then attached with foam adhesive over my MME pattern paper with some jute twine tied in a bow. Finished off with some lovely Pretty Pink Posh sequins!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!
