Watercolor and Glossy Watercolor Card - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! I'm actually a little slow to share this card, because it uses one of the lovely pre-printed watercolor cards in the (SOLD OUT) Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit - Holiday Cheer. While this isn't available on it's own, there are LOTS of similar ones that I've linked to at the bottom of my post today! All of the Suzy's Watercolor Prints for Simon Says Stamp are beautiful, printed on watercolor cardstock (that also works with Copics and colored pencils by the way!) - and are so fun and portable to take along for coloring on the go! THIS Happy Holiday's Collection has many similar images in it - but make sure and check them ALL out HERE to find your favorites!

I actually took this (along with several others!) and my Daniel Smith watercolors when I went to Hawaii last month. Funny, because I didn't end up with much time to color actually - this is the only one I actually finished! I restricted my colors for this to the dot card that came in the same card kit - so if you were lucky enough to get your hands on the kit, this is a peek at what you can do with just those four colors!

Once I got home and got some time, I added some Glossy Accents to some areas of the design for a bit of shine and dimension.

Once that dried thoroughly - actually for several days by the time I got to the next step - I die cut that panel with Stitched Rectangles, and mounted it on a Surf Blue Cardbase.

Product links are all below - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!

  2. I have a bunch of backgrounds I colored in Vietnam (no where as many as I thought I’d get too😂) that need to be turned into cards soon!
