Thank You For Everything - Simon Says Stamp September Card Kit

Good morning! I'm back to share another card created with the BRAND NEW September Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Look for the Rainbows! This is a STUNNING kit - the included large stamp set by the same name is absolutely GORGEOUS, the pattern paper couldn't be any more lovely - not to mention the fabulous 3D Embossing Folder and the envelopes, cardstock, and even fun bit of Nuvo Embellishments are all fun additions!

Today's card is all soft and vintage!

For this card, I started off by using the 3D Embossing Folder in the kit on a piece of white cardstock. I added some distress inking over the top to add a fun vintage feel, and a few splatters of white paint for more texture. I was a bit inspired by photos I've been looking at in preparation for a trip to Italy I'm taking next month! Some of the buildings over there are so ornate and beautiful, and this embossing folder totally reminded me of some of those photos I'd been looking at!

I heat embossed the beautiful flower swag from the stamp set in white on some kraft cardstock, then fussy cut it out. I also die cut a Basic Banner, trimmed off the top, and used the same two colors of distress ink to stamp my sentient from the stamp set at a fun angle. I layered the florals together over the banner, added a piece of vellum with a torn edge underneath to soften the background in that area, and adhered it all together. Finished off with a few of the enamel dots from the kit, and a few of the Nuvo Crystal Gems included in the kit as well - then matted that panel with some of the pattern paper and mounted on a white cardbase.
