Good morning! Yesterday was my normal weekly day for the Pinkfresh Studio Facebook Live! We created a simple and easy to mass produce Christmas card with some ombre ink stamping using the beautiful new Pinkfresh Dye inks! If you missed the Live video and want to take a peek, you can find it on the Pinkfresh Facebook Page - last week's video is available HERE. As always today, there was one giveaway for someone who watched live, so make sure and pop in each week to win that live giveaway - 10 AM Pacific time on Thursday morning! I also always try to post info here the next day on the card we make - for those that aren't on Facebook or maybe didn't see it over there. We will most likely be taking the next couple weeks off, since I will be in Hawaii visiting family, but stay tuned in case we do something little during one of those weeks!
Let's look at these cards we made - and I also have a bonus card at the bottom using the same Cozy Christmas Wishes stamp set!

We used trios of the new color ink families to create an ombre stamped effect - and we actually ended up creating cards with four colors that aren't pictured here in these photos! Check out the video to see the colors we used - some of which ended up being my favorites much to my surprise! By the end, we had used every color family except two - so a great way to see nearly all of these inks in action!
Using a MISTI to line up and stamp these layers of color help these cards come together oh-so-quickly! Then it was a simple matter of die cutting some layers using Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles.
To perfectly color coordinate the layers, we used the middle tone of ink from each stamped image to swipe over the edges of the back layer of the die cut - easy custom color cardstock! I also trimmed our card bases down to slightly smaller than an A2 card - this allowed that outer frame to also be the outer edge of the card. And sometimes slightly smaller card sizes are fun!
Then I just had to play with this image another way as well!
Does gold heat embossing and watercolor ever get old? I don't think so!
I die cut this one with the same die, and then simply layered it on a white cardbase for a clean and simple look.

I don’t make Christmas cards, but if I did, how perfect are these to bulk produce cards!
