Ocean Mini Slimline Duo - Simon Says Stamp Rainbows Release Blog Hop

 I'm back to a couple more mini slimline cards to share today - noticing that has been a theme for me the past couple release blog hops! I really haven't planned it out that way - it just kind of happened each time. There really isn't a size of card that could possibly be any cuter though - and this fun new background stamp called Sea and Sky is perfect for stamping out and creating two cards at the same time like this!

I used some soft Pinkfresh Studio inks to stamp out the top and bottom layers - they separate out for easy multi-color stamping. I gold heat embossed the center layer for a soft and sparkly effect!

I trimmed the panels in half, and then down a bit more as necessary to fit my mini slimline card bases sized 3 1/4" by 6 1/4" - this left a nice border around the edges.

I stamped some sentiments from another new release set - Seas and Greetings - in black ink on either the sky or sand portion of the cards.

Finished off with a few sparkly flat confetti from Pretty Pink Posh - the solid sequins like this remind me a bit of bubbles, so it was a good fit with the theme of these cards!

I love being able to so quickly and easily create two cards in one like this - clean and simple and easy!
