Hello! I'm here today to share my first card with the BRAND NEW July 2021 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Garden Greetings! This kit is summery and full of gorgeous blooms! The included stamp set by the same name has some beautiful wreaths and swags - as well as some great sentiments, there is some lovely pattern paper, a sweet little scripty hugs die - that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!
I started off by heat embossing that gorgeous wreath from the Garden Greetings stamp set in the kit in clear on white cardstock, then ink blended with various distress inks over the top so that the heat embossed portion resisted the ink. I stamped the main sentiment in the center of that in black, then die cut the entire thing with a basic circle die.
On a white cardbase, I stamped the floral swag two times - once on the bottom, and once on the top, so it was peaking out from under the circle when I mounted it with foam adhesive. I also heat embossed a tiny secondary sentiment from the stamp set in white on black cardstock, trimmed it down, and mounted with a bit more foam adhesive. Finished off with a few of the pretty Orca sequins in the kit!
