Friendship Snowflakes - Simon Says Stamp And Back Again Release

Good morning! I'm back with yet another card using the BRAND NEW And Back Again Release from Simon Says Stamp - this time going for a wintery feeling card, with lots of glitter and sparkle!

For this card I used the new Mini Slimline Snowflake Window with some sparkly SSS Glitter Paste. I found it helped to add Pixie Spray to the back of the stencil to hold those details in place, then I used two colors of glitter gel to blend across the stencil. I let them blend a bit in the middle, but tried to leave them distinct on the top and bottom.

I set that aside, and let it dry thoroughly before finishing the card. Isn't that sparkle pretty?!?

While it dried, I stamped a simple sentiment from Kindred SpiritS Stamp set on a strip of white cardstock, and trimmed it into a small banner shape. I adhered it on the glitter paste with liquid glue so it would adhere well, and then added a little bundled bow of black twine on the side.

Finishing touch was some extra sparkle with some Pinkfresh Crystals in coordinating colors!

Miss You Balloons - Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Good morning! I'm popping in today with a card using BRAND NEW February 2022 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Season of Sentiments! My kit this month took a bit of a detour and came later than normal, so it took me a bit longer to get something created to share. :) This month's kit is filled with sweet valentine themed products! The included stamp set by the same name has a huge beautiful floral design, there is also a smaller stamp set with some great sentiments, of course some sweet pattern paper, a cute word die...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

Remember THIS card I shared the other day? Well, I cut these balloons out of the same piece of cardstock that that speech bubble came from!

I started off with some pattern paper from the kit that coordinated. I die cut it with a Stitched Rectangle die, then die cut a Stitched Oval from the center to create a window. I tucked the balloons on the side of that window, letting the strings hide under the bottom of the oval so you couldn't see the imperfection of the bottom.

I added some details to the balloons again with a white gel pen, a sentiment with the Miss You die in the card kit, and a few white sparkly jewels to finish off!

Here is a closer look at the entire kit contents - you can see it all HERE:

Now that I've spent lots of time with this gorgeous pattern paper, I need to break out the stamp set in the kit!

Textured Birthday Wishes - Simon Says Stamp And Back Again Release

Good morning! I'm back yet again with another card using the BRAND NEW And Back Again Release from Simon Says Stamp - this time a simple and elegant birthday card using a new 3D embossing folder and die, along with a classic navy, gold, and white color combo!

I started off with the new Exotic Vines embossing folder, and used some navy cardstock from Concord and 9th. I often use these folders on white cardstock, but there is something so dramatic about a deep colored cardstock and that texture - hard to fully see in photos!

I die cut the new Birthday wafer die from gold mirror cardstock, and the shadow layer from white cardstock, and stamped and heat embossed in white on vellum a secondary sentiment from the Love Garden stamp set that released as part of December's To the Moon release. I adhered that at an angle across the card front, then added the birthday sentiment with foam adhesive over the top.

Finishing touch to add some more gold to the card - and a touch of shine - a few Metallic Gold Pearls! And this easy and elegant card is done - wouldn't it be fun to create in lots of different colors to have in your stash?

LOVE you are amazing - Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Good morning! I'm popping in today with another card using BRAND NEW February 2022 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Season of Sentiments!

Today's card is once again all about that lovely pattern paper, paired up with a stamped image from the small stamp set included in the kit!

I started off by fussy cutting out that speech bubble from one of the larger pieces of pattern paper - the one with the cute little car and balloons. The entire panel was too large for a card, but I was able to use this piece (and...I cut out the balloons for another card I'll share here soon!). I matched it up with some pattern paper that I thought just worked perfectly with it. I trimmed the background paper slightly smaller than my cardbase, adhered it off-centered, and then trimmed off one side of the speech bubble slightly to match it up straight with the card edge, and mounted that with foam adhesive.

I added a secondary sentiment, heat embossed from that mini stamp set in the kit, and a few sparkly white jewels to finish this card off!

Here is a closer look at the entire kit contents - you can see it all HERE:

Do you like to fussy cut images out of pattern paper to use on cards? It's a great trick to stretch it just a bit further!

XOXO Love You - Simon Says Stamp And Back Again Release

Good morning! I'm popping in today to share another card using some goodies from the BRAND NEW And Back Again Release from Simon Says Stamp - I found a great pairing of stamp and die sets to create this simple card!

I die cut the window in my front panel using Big XOXO wafer die - and realized that long repeating stamped sentiment in XL Love Greetings was a perfect fit behind the window created from the two "O's"!

I created a blended background using three shades of distress oxide inks - Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, and Aged Mahogany, then lined up and stamped my sentiment so it would show evenly behind the openings.

Next, I popped up my front panel with some foam adhesive for dimension, making sure the words showed just right behind it.

Finally, I stamped and heat embossed another sentiment from the stamp set in white on black cardstock. There are coordinating dies, but since I don't have them, I went ahead and fussy cut that sentiment out. Used a bit of liquid glue to adhere it in the center of the panel, leaving the edges floating free for just a touch more dimension!

Sister Love - Simon Says Stamp And Back Again Release Hop Day 2

Good morning! Excited today to be joining in on Day 2 of an incredible blog hop to celebrate the BRAND NEW And Back Again Release from Simon Says Stamp - as well as featuring the sneaky little December Release, To the Moon! Make sure and check out all the inspiration with this new release AND link up your creations as you receive your orders HERE and HERE in the Galleries created just for this release! And check out the graphic below to receive a FREE Love Gnome stamp set with any purchase and the coupon code below through January 23, 2022 as well - while supplies last (code expires at 11:59 PM EDT)!!!

I'm pairing up two of the new stamp sets on my slimline card design - along with a previously released alpha die to create my custom sentiment!

I started off by stamping and coloring that sweet image from the new Kindred Spirits stamp set. I thought it reminded me of a vintage image of sisters - and was super sweet! I colored it up simple with Copic markers in soft tones.

The sentiment was created with a mix of Rounded Alphabet dies and the new XL Love Greetings stamp set - don't they work perfectly together?

For the alphas, I started off by grabbing a panel of mint cardstock, swiping my clear embossing ink pad across the bottom of it, and heat embossing with two layers of clear embossing powder. I then die cut the letters so that they were halfway between the two portions. This added a bit of fun texture, shine, and interest to the letters! I also die cut them two more times from white cardstock to layer together for a bit more dimension to the letters.

I also used my new favorite white gel pen from Arteza to add some dots and flower doodles onto the simply colored dresses the girls were wearing. I thought it was fun to add that bit of detail to the design. These would also be super fun to paper piece with pattern paper I think!

And that finishes off this simple slimline design with two of the new items from the release! Can't wait to play with them more!

Valentine Note Card Set - Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit

Good morning! I'm popping in today with a little set of cards using BRAND NEW February 2022 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Season of Sentiments!

I had fun with the pattern paper in this kit to quickly put together this set of 4 note cards!

These fun panels from the Simple Stories Happy Hearts 6x8 papers in the kit had 4 on one sheet of paper - I only used half of them, and still have 4 more I can create more cards with!

These papers are double sided...and the reverse side was so pretty, I wanted to at least let a small peek of it show through on the front of my card, so I folded over a corner, and added a small twine bow with my tiny stapler as a fun design element.

I also tucked some more of that pattern paper behind each one - that striped design was the perfect match for all of these! I trimmed them down to small panels to fit behind and peek out just slightly.

I adhered everything down just with an adhesive runner, but I left the edges free, and curled them up a bit with my fingers. This gives the illusion of dimension, without having to have lots of bulky weight from foam adhesive and such. One of my favorite tricks!

It also might be hard to see in the photos, but on each card, I also pulled out my favorite new white gel pen from Arteza and added a bit of detail accents. I have tried SOOO many white gel pens and struggled with them clogging, and so far, these are magical! They work SOOO well!

Finally, a little row of sparkly Glacier Jewels in the bottom corner to add a touch of sparkle and balance the design!

Here is a closer look at the entire kit contents - you can see it all HERE:

Which design is your favorite? I'm a bit partial to the balloons...although that fun frosty drink makes me think of bubble tea which I love, so that is fun too!
