Layered Florals Birthday Card - Pinkfresh Studio Instagram Release Hop

 Hello! Today I am part of a fun Instagram hop to celebrate the new Pinkfresh Studio release! I have had so much fun creating with this release - yesterday was the blog hop, and I shared tons of cards for that! The card I'm sharing today I created on last week's Facebook Live for Pinkfresh Studio as a sneak peek - you can watch that video HERE if you want to see more details!

This card was super fun to create! I loved playing with different colors of cardstock, lots of die cutting, and some multicolor floral layering stencils - not to mention a bit of hot foiling as well!

I used the gorgeous and big Beautiful Blooms set for this card - but just one half of the blooms included. I stamped the bottom section of the Beautiful Blooms stamp set in Warm Buff ink (for a warm and soft toned outline that would coordinate with my hot foiled sentiment!). I used the layering stencils to add color, masking each flower off with a bit of tape so I could do 3 different colors of flowers. Not necessary, but adds to the fun!

Background is soft blue cardstock, and I used the amazing new Sparkling Diamonds die - I can't get enough of that design! So perfect and simple for any card design! I also added some layers die cut using Folk Edge Circles in different colors of cardstock - and offset it on the side of the card, trimming to give a straight edge. This gave a great focal point to add those florals - and allow them to pop off the background. I adhered them with foam adhesive for that touch of dimension.

Sentiment uses the fabulous new Fancy Script Words hot foil set with coordinating dies. The layout of the "happy birthday" was perfect to tuck around the florals on this card. I added that with foam adhesive, and then finished off with a few sparkly Jewels in a trio of 3 different colors!
