Hello! I'm popping in to share my first card using the new September 2023 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Bee Happy! This month's kit is happy and fun, with a focus on bee and sunflower elements. The included stamp set by the same name has some fun images to stamp as well as some great sentiments, there is a 3D embossing folder, pretty pattern paper...that's all not to mention the cardstock, embellishments, and more!
For my first card, I combined a few elements from the kit. I started off by using the Criss Cross Floral 3D embossing folder on white cardstock to create a base for my card. I trimmed down some of that pretty pattern paper that I thought was so pretty, and then that sentiment from the stamp set in the kit was just perfect! I heat embossed that on the paper, since it has a bit of shine to it, I didn't want a simple stamped image to rub off. I stamped it in black Versafine ink, then embossed with clear powder - the easiest way to get black heat embossing! Popped that panel up with foam, then added a few coordinating enamel dots to finish off. Here are some more photos of this card - and if you scroll down a bit, a picture of the entire kit:
