Good morning! I'm popping in to share a couple cards I created using a couple sets from Simon Says Stamp that I thought worked super well together, and hadn't had a chance to make use of yet. I love doing the same cards and switching up the colors - and this one was fun to reverse the colors on the sentiments too!
I started off by heat embossing the Joyful Anemone cling stamp in white on two colors of Simon Says Stamp cardstock - Soft Navy and Burnt Orange. I then trimmed the panels down slightly so they fit on my white cardbases with slight borders around the edges. The sentiments are from the Thankful and Grateful stamp and die set - heat embossed on the same colors of cardstock, but switched to the opposite color of background. To make them pop a bit more, I added a strip of vellum with a torn edge underneath. It just adds a nice softness to where the sentiments are. I added a secondary sentiment underneath from the preprinted sentiment strips - Reverse Giving Thanks. Both of those are mounted with foam adhesive on the vellum, then I used liquid adhesive behind that to adhere the vellum onto the background, hiding the adhesive. I finished off with some Matte Gold Pearls from Pinkfresh Studio to add a touch of glam! Here are some more photos of these cards!
