Good morning! I recently paired up one of the new cardstock colors from Simon Says Stamp with some other colors in the SSS collection, and I'm particularly loving how these colors worked together! Also, how pretty and intricate is this snowflake die from a recent release?!?
I actually die cut the Frozen Fractal Peace snowflake die a little while back, then realized I couldn't use it and post anything until that lovely new Midnight Purple cardstock released last week. So I set it aside, and worked on other projects at the time. The dish I saw it on was a similar color to the Mint cardstock, and I love the way it looked, but wanted to add another color. I already new it looked good with pink tones, so I pulled out some Apricot cardstock. That's how this color combo came about! Fun, right? I created a color block on the front of my cardbase, then added some white diagonal strips layered over the top, before adhering the snowflake down directly over the top, lining up the centerline along the change in colored cardstock. This kept it looking crisp and clean! I added the new Timeless Celebrate for the sentiment, cut from PF Champagne glitter cardstock and Vellum, then finished off with a few Clear Dazzling gems for extra sparkle!
