Bright Vintage Notecards - Tim Holtz June coordinating die release

Good morning! I've got one last thing to share with the June 2026 installment of Tim Holtz coordinating dies that released recently from Simon Says Stamp! This time instead of one card, I'm sharing a sweet little set of notecards! They are the small 4 Bar notecards from SSS, and the perfect size to let these sweet little images shine. And I found a fun way to do the banner dies to add extra dimension!

I started off by die cutting and creating the backgrounds. I used Lime, Lake, Heather, and Princess Color Splash cardstocks, cut with the Crimped A2 Rectangles, then cut watercolor paper using a smaller sized A2 Rectangles die. On the watercolor paper, I blended the coordinating ink colors of Lime, Lake, Heather, and Princess onto two corners of the panels, then misted with some water for a watercolor effect. While those dried, I stamped and heat embossed my images from Tiny Things and Tiny Things 2 sets, stamping in Nocturne ink, then clear heat embossing for extra shine. I die cut them each with their coordinating dies. I also stamped the "Hello Friend" from Tiny Text a few times, and die cut with the smallest banner die from the coordinating die set. I also cut the next largest banner die for each one to layer underneath. That way, when I adhered them together with foam adhesive, it gave them a more dimensional banner look - and it was so easy! I added some Black Splatter to my little cardbases, then assembled all my layers, using Big Momma foam adhesive so I could have lots of layers, but they wouldn't get too thick. Finished off with a few Clear Dazzling gems for the final touch of sparkle! Here is a closer look at each of these sweet cards:

Ordinary Joy - Tim Holtz June coordinating die release

Good morning! I'm back to share another card using the June 2026 installment of Tim Holtz coordinating dies that released recently from Simon Says Stamp! This card appeals to my music loving heart - and I had so much fun putting it together!

I started off by stamping that fun musical note image from Tiny Things 2 on colored cardstock with tone-on-tone ink colors. I used Honey, Mandarin, Blush, Royal, and Field inks and stamped on Banana, Creamsicle, Apricot, Cornflower, and Green Apple cardstocks. I then die cut with those amazing new coordinating dies - do you see how beautifully they cut even that section between the lines? I love that! I wanted to add a bit of interest to my cardbase, so I pulled out an older stencil from Simon Says Stamp called Brush Strokes, and used the same colors of inks I had stamped with on varying sections of the card. It still felt like there was too much contrast, so I blended the tiny bit of leftover ink on my brushes onto the cardbase very softly to add a little bit of a soft halo effect. I then popped those images up with foam adhesive strips. I added a sentiment from Tiny Text, die cut with one of the new coordinating dies for that set, rounded off one corner, then added a sprinkle of Dazzling Gems in Prism to finish off! Here is a closer look at this colorful and happy card:

Ocean Seahorse Scene - Tim Holtz June coordinating die release

Hello! Today I'm popping in with another card using the June 2026 installment of Tim Holtz coordinating dies that released recently from Simon Says Stamp! Today's card is more repetition - one of my favorite things with this release apparently! But this time a fun underwater scene!

For this card, I used the Sea Life set, and stamped the seahorse 3 times with Abandoned Coral distress oxide ink, and the coral a few times with Uncharted Mariner distress oxide ink, then die cut them with the new coordinating Sea Life die set. I ink blended some SSS Ocean ink on a panel of white cardstock, creating a gradient that was deeper at the base and faded off towards the top, and added some white splatter over that for texture. Once that dried, I arranged all the elements, trimming off the excess coral pieces as needed. I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from Tiny Text in white on black cardstock to make it pop, then die cut that with the (also new!) Tiny Text coordinating die set. I mounted that panel on a cardbase created with Apricot cardstock, wrapped some white twine around the card and tied in a bow, then added a heavy sprinkle of Trinity Stamps Bubble Blow Out embellishments to complete the underwater feel! Here are more photos at this fun scene:

See the World - Tim Holtz June coordinating die release Blog Hop

Good morning! I'm super excited today to be joining a fun blog hop featuring a another project using some new dies from the June 2026 installment of Tim Holtz coordinating dies that released yesterday from Simon Says Stamp There are so many fun techniques that are possible when you add coordinating dies! I shared a a card yesterday that uses another set in this release - if you're interested, you can check it out out HERE

I love using small images in repetition, and when I saw this cute little Eiffel tower, I just couldn't help but see it paired with pink, black, and gold - so perfect together!

I started off by stamping the image from Tiny Things multiple times with Nocturne ink, then heat embossing with clear embossing powder to add a subtle bit of shine. Then I die cut the image out with the coordinating Tiny Things dies. For the background, I did a bit of ink blending with Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry distress inks on watercolor paper, then misted with water to give a faux watercolor effect. Once that dried, I also added some Black Splatter for more texture. I used Tiny Text to heat emboss several sentiments in gold on black cardstock, then die cut those out with the coordinating Tiny Text dies. Then, I arranged everything on the card base, using foam strips to adhere the images and sentiments. I also tied a bit of gold cord around one of the images, and added a sprinkle of Gold Pearls to glam it up a bit extra! Here is a closer look at all that fun sparkle and shine:

Here is the entire blog hop list - hop along for tons of amazing inspiration!

Use Your Wings - Tim Holtz June coordinating die release

Hello! Today I'm popping in with a layered monochromatic card to celebrate the June 2026 installment of Tim Holtz coordinating dies that released today from Simon Says Stamp! These die sets coordinate with previously released stamp sets, and add an entire new level of versatility to these sets - and I'm loving it! I used 3 of the new die sets to create this card - keep reading to find out more!

I started off by stamping several of the greenery images from Floral Elements, a couple of the images from Moth Study, and a sentiment from Tiny Text on Sage cardstock. I stamped with white pigment ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder to get a nice opaque and detailed image for all of those. Then I die cut each of them out with the new coordinating Floral Elements dies, Moth Study dies, and Tiny Text dies. I grabbed a few of the florals from Floral Elements stamp set and arranged those and stamped on another panel of Sage cardstock, this time just in white pigment ink with no heat embossing for some varying texture. I then popped all those die cut images on the cardfront, trimming off any excess on the edges. Finished off with a tiny bow from Lawn Fawn white twine tied on one of the stems! I kind of wanted to add bling or gems, but every time I tried, it just took away from the organic and elegant feel of this card. So I resisted, and kept it as is! Here is a closer look at the dimension and detail on this card:

Thank You Friend - Tim Holtz January coordinating die release

Hello! I've got one more card to share that features some of the new dies that Simon Says Stamp released this month to coordinate with previously released Tim Holtz stamp sets! Today's card may be my favorite of them all - lots of heat embossing and ink blending - so fun!

I started off by stamping several images from the Field Notes set in Nocturne ink, then heat embossing with clear embossing powder. This allowed me to ink blend without smearing the ink later. I then die cut, and used my Tacky mat to place each die cut element and ink blend in some fun colors. I used Honey, Salmon, Artichoke, Amethyst, and Twilight inks. I also added a bit of two of those colors to my white cardbase, then set about arranging and adhering all of those items on my cardbase. I used a mix of tape runner and foam adhesive to get a good mix of dimension. I added a sentiment from Sentiment Label Stickers, and a sprinkling of the tiniest size of Dazzling Clear gems to finish off! Here are more photos of all the fun details:
