Thank You Friend - Tim Holtz January coordinating die release

Hello! I've got one more card to share that features some of the new dies that Simon Says Stamp released this month to coordinate with previously released Tim Holtz stamp sets! Today's card may be my favorite of them all - lots of heat embossing and ink blending - so fun!

I started off by stamping several images from the Field Notes set in Nocturne ink, then heat embossing with clear embossing powder. This allowed me to ink blend without smearing the ink later. I then die cut, and used my Tacky mat to place each die cut element and ink blend in some fun colors. I used Honey, Salmon, Artichoke, Amethyst, and Twilight inks. I also added a bit of two of those colors to my white cardbase, then set about arranging and adhering all of those items on my cardbase. I used a mix of tape runner and foam adhesive to get a good mix of dimension. I added a sentiment from Sentiment Label Stickers, and a sprinkling of the tiniest size of Dazzling Clear gems to finish off! Here are more photos of all the fun details:

Sending Thanks - Tim Holtz January coordinating die release

Good morning! I'm back with another card that features some of the new dies that Simon Says Stamp released last week to coordinate with previously released Tim Holtz stamp sets! Today's card features a repeat stamped and die cut scene!

For this card, I focused on the Correspondence set, and selected the airplane and postage label. I stamped the airplane multiple times in Cadette ink and die cut with the coordinating die, then skipped stamping, but die cut the postage label several times, and ink blended with Honey ink in varying corners. This shows off the embossed texture as well as the die cutting on this image! I created a card base with Gina K Blue Sky cardstock, then used Cascading Hearts embossing folder on a panel of white cardstock as the base for my scene. I die cut several clouds from Birthday Blitz die set using vellum for a soft effect, and arranged those on the white embossed panel, trimming off any overhang. I adhered those with tiny lines of liquid adhesive, then layered over the postage labels and planes with thin foam adhesive. Finished off with one of the sentiment labels popped up on foam adhesive, and a hefty sprinkle of Dazzling Gems in Sunbeam for some extra sparkle! Here is a closer look at this finished card:

STAMPtember Collaboration - Picket Fence Studios

Hello - and HAPPY STAMPtember - a month long party by Simon Says Stamp to celebrate all things stamping.

Today we are getting to see the next in the progression of the special SUPER SECRET collaboration stamp sets that will be happening throughout the month! Today we have...Picket Fence Studios!

This set is a bit snarky and unique - I used just the image from the stamp set, and then used a sentiment from a sticker pack from Tim Holtz that I thought was super fun!

I used a cardbase created with Concord and 9th cardstock - this color is called Sprout, and I just love the soft green tones!

I stamped the image in black right on the cardfront, then added the sticker, popped up on several thin strips of white cardstock - it just felt more stable than foam adhesive, and worked great!

Here is a closer look at this fun set:
