Lovely Lemon Shaped Card - Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness Release

Good evening! I'm super excited for the gorgeous BRAND NEW Every Happiness release from Simon Says Stamp, and kicking it off with a soft and sweet shaped card! I adore lemons, and this stunning set that is part of the new release not only includes a stamp and die, but stencils for coloring! Could it get any better?!? And this design just felt meant for a shaped card design - I love how it came out!

I started off by stamping the image from Squeeze You in Latte ink, then leaving it lined up in my MISTI to restamp afterwards, I moved on to ink blending the image. I used Butter, Zest, and Honey for the lemons, and Spring, Dublin, and Lucky for the greenery. A bit of White Pigment ink was perfect for the inside of the lemon slice to soften it up, Cheeky for the flowers, and then some Cappuccino took care of the branch color. Once it was all ink blended, I put it back in my MISTI and restamped over with the same Latte ink. I thought about doing black ink, but I loved how soft it looked, so I decided to stick with this. Restamping helped crisp up all those details though! I created a shaped card with the previously released Chunky Scalloped Ovals from white cardstock paired with the new Chunky Ovals dies scored and adhered for the back of the card (scroll down a couple photos to see that), and also a panel of Cream cardstock for the front. I love how these dies work together! I added the images and stamped sentiment, tied a little white twine bow, some white gel pen accents, then embellished with a few Clear Dazzling Gems to finish it off! And I've got this little happy trio of birthday cards to share using some of the items in the new release!

I make a lot of birthday cards, and often need cute ones for kids with a lot of nieces and nephews - and friends with kiddos too! So when I saw the Wild Birthday set, I fell in love and couldn't wait to play with it! I thought it would be fun to watercolor up a few of the images - so I stamped them on watercolor paper, and just had a fun and relaxing watercolor session. Once they dried, I trimmed them down slightly to fit over the A2 Scalloped Rectangles dies, that I used to create shaped cardbases! I just cut two of them for each cardbase, scored the top edge of the back one, and then adhered them together. I added a sprinkle of the new Golden Hour embellishments to each one, and then some sparkly glitter drops to a few spots on each image. Here is a closer look at each of these cards:

Pink Bus Shaped Card - Simon Says Stamp

 Good morning! Today I have something a bit unexpected - using a fun new die from Simon Says Stamp. My kids are now in college, and since they homeschooled anyway, school buses weren't really part of their childhood. But when I saw the Big Bus die, I wanted to find a way to put it to use - and what could be more fun than a pink bus? And...it's a shaped card too to make it even more magical! I mean - I want to ride this bus! Haha!

As I mentioned already, I used the Big Bus die to create my card. I die cut the main layer 2 times from pink cardstock, once from white cardstock, and once from vellum. Then on one of the pink layers, I die cut the windows - the front window I just made sure to line up with the edge of the main piece. I backed the panel with vellum, then adhered it with Big Momma foam adhesive to the white bus layer. I scored the back pink layer across the top, then adhered them together, so that the back piece bends to allow the shaped card to open. Then, I die cut all the other layers from Pinkfresh Glacier glitter cardstock and Smoke and Slate SSS cardstock, adhering all to the front layer of the bus. I die cut Giggle Hello from white and glitter cardstock, and popped that up with foam, then added a secondary sentiment from For the Birds stamp set, trimmed into a thin strip with diagonal edges. Finished off with a few Clear Dazzling Gems for extra sparkle! Here are more photos of this fun card:

Circle Thank You Cards - Simon Says Stamp August Card Kit

 Hello! I'm popping in to share a couple more cards using the newest August 2025 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Best-Teas! This month's kit is so cute with a tea and coffee theme! The included stamp set has some adorable little images to fit the theme, and some fun large sentiments that are a perfect fit (there is a matching die set available HERE as well)! There are some fun coffee theme pattern papers, a bottle of the new Perfect Splatter Medium...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, word die, and more!

I recently made a shaped card, and it was so fun, that I thought the kit contents would work perfectly to create a couple more! I pulled out my Scalloped Circles wafer die set, and created the cardbase from white cardstock, scoring a portion of the back scallop to create the fold for the card to open. I then cut smaller layers of pattern paper from the kit, trimming part of them down to add the correct layers, but keep the pretty scalloped edge. The sentiments use the new Fancy Thank You die in the kit - I cut one layer of each from white cardstock, and one from the Gold Kraft cardstock in the kit, then reversed the layers. I added secondary sentiments from Reverse Thank You sentiment strips, a wrap of White Lawn Fawn Twine, and then a few Dazzling Gems in Gold to finish off! Shaped Circle Birdies Card - Simon Says Stamp Friend Like You Release

 Good morning! I'm stopping by today with yet another card using the Simon Says Stamp Friend Like You Release! This time, I created a cute shaped card with lots of die cutting!

The little Birdies die is full of elements to build adorable birds - and I love the included branch for them to rest on! I used some Spellbinders cardstock to cut all the elements out, and assembled the birdies. Next, I created a shaped card using another favorite from this release - Scalloped Circles dies. I scored a line on the back circle, added the front one with liquid adhesive, and let dry. This allows the card to open nicely, but still look pretty on the front! To add some interest to the top, I used the cloud masks from Mountainscape stencil set, adhering them with a loop of low tack tape, then ink blended Seafoam ink over the top. This added a soft sky effect which was fun! I adhered the branch and birdies, then stamped my sentiments from Wildflower Cuttings stamp set. Finished off with a looped bow using Rose Gold Metallic Cord, and a bunch of tiny Clear Dazzling Gems adhered on the cute birdies wings to give them a touch of sparkle!
