Patches of Pink - Red, White, and Blue challenge!!!

It's Thursday, and that means it's time for another Link-up party with Patches of Pink - and the montly Design Team post for July! This month, the challenge is to make anything with the colors red, white, and blue. It doesn't have to be patriotic, just use those colors!

To me, those colors just scream SUMMER!!! So...since I recently won 25 stamps from Unity Stamps, I decided to ink up my FAVORITE of the ones I received! I stamped it with Tim Holtz distress ink, did a little coloring with a red Prismacolor marker, attached a bit of bling to the center with my Jolee's heat set tool, and added some glossy accents for some shine. The sentiment is also from Unity Stamps, and I covered it with Glossy Accents as well. The edges of the main image I rounded with my Martha Stewart corner rounder, and the edges of EVERYTHING were inked with two different colors of Tim Holtz distress ink. To finish it off, I added a button and a bit of jute cord. is the perfect opportunity for you to go join the party! Go visit Patches of Pink and link up your red, white, and blue creation!
