Good Afternoon! Feels a bit like a crazy day today - Monday I guess, huh? Anyway - I wanted to quickly post the card I made for the January Release Challenge on the Peachy Keen Connection - A New Challenge. I used a brand new paper pad that I hadn't cut into yet - and it's even more fun, because it is a Christmas pad! Here is what I made:
Obviously this stamp isn't new! But I had so much fun with this little cherub the other day, that I had to use her again! This time, I stamped her on PTI rustic cream cardstock, colored very softly with Copic Markers, then hand cut her out. It doesn't show too well in the pictures, but I crumpled up the edges and wings a little, to give it a more vintage look. I then added Glossy Accents to her wings, halo, eyes, and lips. LOVE how her eyes sparkle with the Glossy Accents!
The papers are all layered from a Glitz Designs 6x6 paper pad. I used a My Creative Time Die and stamped sentiment - using some PTI ink for the green. Attached the cherub and sentiment frame with foam adhesive.
Finished off with a bit of lace trim, some jute twine, and an October Afternoon button.
Thanks for stopping by! It's an easy challenge to join in with - and the prize is a $50 gift certificate - so why don't you come play along too?!?!?
So super cute!! Lee-Ann :)
