Retro Happy Birthday

(Edited to add: I'm linking this up with the Moxie Fab World Mixy-Matchy Style Challenge!)

Good morning! I'm super excited to share my card this morning with you! This is actually the card I made for my best friend's birthday - even though I got it to her late! This sweet little image made me think of us many years ago - we have been friends since we were little girls:
Absolutely PERFECT colors at the Play Date Cafe Challenge this week! I think this is one of my favorite color combos:

I used my Lil' Inker's Instant Photo Frame Die, and used it to frame one of the sweet Sugar Kissed Cottage images stamped in MFT red ink.
I added that lovely film strip washi tape, the stamped sentiment, and a few sequins before tucking a doily behind it.
My pattern papers are from Crate Paper's Maggie Holmes and DIY Shop 6x6 paper pads. I used a Fiskar's edge punch for the lacy part on the bottom, and attached the photo frame with foam adhesive.
Finished off with a bit of jute twine - I'm starting to wonder if I can even make a card without it anymore! Or sequins...
I am also going to enter this into the Paper Crafts Magazine Gallery Idol Challenge - you can check it out HERE.

Thanks for visiting! Have a great day!
