Good morning! I can't tell you how fun it has been to be playing along with more challenges, and just relaxing and having fun! Getting back into crafting has been wonderful! I made another card to play along with the fabulous Birthday Bash challenges at Winnie and Walter the other day - this one for Gayatri's CAS Freestyle Collage challenge and Joni's sketch challenge:
Here is Joni's sketch:
Also playing along with the current Runway Inspired Challenge - LOVE that vibrant pink, and - and the touches of gold on the necklace and belt:
Also linking this up as a second entry to Virginia's View Challenge - love how this style is so vibrant, free-styled and pretty, and yet still CAS!
I used some of the brand new Peerless watercolors I recently bought and hadn't had a chance to use - I'm officially in LOVE with them! So pretty and vibrant!!! I heat embossed the lovely flowers from The Big, the Bold, and the Extras in gold on vellum, then very carefully fussy cut them out before adhering with some clear foam adhesive (another new love!!!). I also used the little black dots from the same set to add an ink splatter effect, to tie in with the sentiment that I stamped using The Big, the Bold, and the Happy. Finished off with some gold Heidi Swapp Color Shine mist, and a smattering of clear and gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, then mounted on a plain white card base that was a little wider than my front panel.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!
Howdy gallery neighbor ;) Still rockin' the pink and gold? (Funny, I'm keepin the colors subdued at the moment.) Luverly this time too.
