Jen's Surprise Birthday Blog Hop - Reverse Confetti

Good morning! Super excited today to be joining in with a super special SURPRISE blog hop to celebrate the owner and founder of Reverse Confetti! Make sure and hop along to join the fun!

I had fun with the super cute Hey Sugar set from Reverse Confetti - what is more fun than a pink glazed donut with a candle in it for a birthday, right?

I started off by using the fun Polka Panel as a stencil to add a soft background using Iced Aqua Dye Ink. I then added some black splatters using Pinkfresh Studio's Licorice Liquid Watercolors - my new favorite black splatter!

I stamped and colored the donut and candle from Hey Sugar, then die cut with the Coordinating Confetti Cuts, and attached that with foam adhesive over the sentiment I stamped on the cardbase. Finished off with a good solid coating of Glossy Accents on the frosting!
