Good morning! Today I'm part of the 2nd day of a blog hop to celebrate the BRAND NEW Pretty Pink Posh March Release! There so much to love about this release - cute, fun, elegant - totally amazing! You can check out the entire release HERE. There is TONS of inspiration to be found along the blog hop - and a few fabulous giveaways as well!
I have two cards to share today featuring the beautiful new floral set - Magnolia Flower, two different ways.
This first card is very neutral and features lots of kraft cardstock. I stamped and heat embossed a couple of the flowers in white on kraft, added some color with gray Copic Markers, then die cut them with the Coordinating Magnolia Flowers Dies.
Next, I stamped some of the florals on a kraft cardstock panel, arranging them so they would peek out from behind my other flowers. I stamped them in black, and added some shading with a white colored pencil, and mounted the heat embossed flowers over the top using foam adhesive for dimension.
Sentiment for this is from another new set - Peacock Friends - and a die cut frame from Stitched Notes Dies and a few Ivory Jewels finish this elegant card off! Isn't that dimension fun?
Next up, I have this super clean and simple card:
For this card I used two shades of Copics for the petals and leaves, and a flicking motion to add color. This gives some shading and dimension, but is super easy!
I added a frame using the previously released Scallop Hearts Dies - to make it coordinating perfectly, I die cut it from white cardstock and then colored it with a Copic marker. I die cut it again from white cardstock, and glued them together to make it slightly more dimensional when I attached it to my card - but not quite as much as adding foam adhesive behind it.
Sentiment also came from Peacock Friends for this card. I mounted the flowers with foam adhesive, and left it clean and simple!
