Good morning! I'm stopping by this morning (a few days later than I planned!) with a couple cards featuring dies from the NEW March 2019 Large Die Kit from Spellbinders! I intended to have these finished and posted when this kit released on the 1st of the month, but life got crazy as it likes to do sometimes! This is such a pretty die set though - I thoroughly enjoyed pulling it out to play!
While this die set has some fun options to create a pop up in the center of your card (you can check out a video on the Spellbinder's YouTube channel HERE to see how the pop up works) - but I wanted to use the elements together for a more clean and simple design!
I used two soft colors of cardstock, paired with some white cardstock to create a set of two using both of the large die cut sentiments. I die cut the sentiment portions from white cardstock, then die cut the window from panels of colored cardstock.
I layered the white sentiments directly behind the colored windows, then attached the negative cuts from the windows on my white cardbases, and popped up my sentiment panels over the top with foam adhesive for a touch of dimension.
I finished off by die cutting the lacy doily image and trimming off the tabs with scissors so I could mount them under my windows. Just adds a touch of detail and elegance that way!
