One Tough Cookie

Good morning! I'm stopping by with a card that I made quite some time ago - LAST YEAR if you can believe it (and if not, the watermark on the photos may give it away?) For some reason I hadn't gotten around to posting it here - so thought I would share it today.

This card was actually a custom order for a friend - she was making some cookies for a friend facing cancer, and wanted a card to match the cookies (which as you may have guessed, were shaped as margarita glasses!) I was able to find the perfect image from Unity Stamp Company HERE, but she also wanted a specific sentiment, which I ended up generating on my computer and printing out to use.

The background was created with lots of Pinkfresh Studio pattern paper - layered up as I love to do with lots of different patterns.

I colored up the margarita glass and adhered that and the sentiment over the layers with foam adhesive, then added a few enamel dots.

The final fun, finishing touch was to cover the glass image with Glossy Accents and let it dry nice and thoroughly. This next photo shows that lovely shine the best:

Product links are all below - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!
