I as so inspired by the rainbow of colors - and currently obsessed with the beautiful Through the Trees Stamp set, that I decided to pair those up together! I used a rainbow of Distress Oxide Inks to ink up my stamp. I tried a few different ways, and finally ended up on using my finger to dab in the ink and apply to the stamp. I had a it of a dirty finger when I was done, but totally worth it!
For this first card, once I had ink applied to the entire image, I stamped it on white cardstock using my MISTI.
On a whim, I misted what ink was left on the stamp with some water and restamped it on watercolor paper - SOOO glad I did that! I think I like this effect better than the first one!
I die cut both panels with the largest Essentials Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die, and added sentiments onto them using the new You've Got This stamp set, and small additional sentiments from Folk Hummingbird and Blooming Bouquet. Matted them with a bit of white cardstock, then mounted on soft blue cardbases to finish off!
