Evelin T Designs First Release Blog Hop

Good morning! I'm so very excited this morning to be helping to introduce my friend Evelin T Designs' brand new stamp company! She has such an adorable and whimsical style of illustrating - I know you are going to fall in love with it all! Today is a blog hop with some talented designers - and the store goes live at 9 AM EDT so you can start shopping!

I have 3 cards to share today with the new release - starting off with this fun watercolor rainbow with a custom sentiment!

For this first card, I lined up my letters from the adorable new Alpha Blocks in my MISTI (LOVE that there is more than one of each letter to make it easier to line up words with multiples of letters!). I then covered it with a layer of Crystal Glaze, an dlet it dry so that I could watercolor over the top and it would resist the color. Once that dried I added a rainbow of watercolors with my Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors and let that dry as well.

I trimmed down that panel, added a thin mat of gold glitter cardstock around the edges, and mounted it on a white cardbase. I added a heat embossed sentiment from the darling Reading Buddies stamp set - heat embossed in gold on black cardstock - mounted that over a twist of gold thread, and then added a few gold jewels to finish it off!

Next up, I couldn't decide which of the darling critters from Coffee Loving Critters to use, so I used several of them!

I lined them up and stamped on a white cardbase, then did some masking of them and a strip underneath them for a ground. I added some Distress Ink and some splatters of Pinkfresh Licorice Liquid Watercolor, then removed my masks.

I originally planned to color these cuties in, but I ended up loving the striking contrast the way they were - so I stamped my sentiment and left them as they were!

And finally, and bit more Distress Ink blending for one more card!

For this one I created a Distress Ink blended panel on a white cardbase first, added some water splatters, then stamped some of the lovely Evergreen Foliage over the top in black. 

Finished off with sentiments to create another one layer card!
